Hello,
I’ve installed MyEclipse 7.5 on Snow Leopard and now I have window preferences incomplete (i.e. there is no Server option to configure application server) and in the file new there isn’t any wizard in order to create web project, web service and so on, there is only java project.
How can I resolve it?

Do you have any 3rd party archiver piece of software you use to handle un-compressing archives… more specifically do you use The Unarchiver for Mac? We’d found a problem where some 3rd party archiving software on the Mac truncates files as it uncompresses them if the full pathname for the file is too long — this is a limitation of the software, not the platform.

I’ve checked it, and all resources exist in the file system, beside another MyEclipse installation (vers. 6.6) works fine in my mac. I’ve tried to reinstall all but there isn’t any change in the behaviour. I have also a quite odd pulse installation there is this structure :
/Library/Pulse
Software
Pulse Explorer
Launcher
Common
and there are two app pulse-explorer: one in folder “Pulse Explorer” and the other in “Launcher”. Is it correct?
How can I remove all and reinstall it? The “unistaller” doesn’t work so I think I have to remove it manually.

After running the uninstaller please check that /Library/Pulse, /Library/Genuitec or /Library/MyEclipse folders are also deleted. The pulse.locator file should also be erased from your machine. It is located at ~/.pulse.locator.

If the problem persists, you should go to http://www.poweredbypulse.com and grab the pulse launcher. After launching the pulse explorer, add the MyEclipse profile to it and you should be good to go.
