I am getting “An error has occurred. See error log for more details.”
Where is the error log? On my PC eclipse and MyEclipse are installed under c:/Program Files.
I have a feeling this problem is related to file association/default editor/locked by ‘XYZ” content type settings.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

There’s actually a problem with “upgrading” to 4.0GA, which is likely the source of the issue. You need to do a new installation of Eclipse 3.1 and MyEclipse 4.0GA as mentioned here:http://www.myeclipseide.com/PNphpBB2+file-viewtopic-t-8782.html for the details given here: http://www.myeclipseide.com/PNphpBB2+file-viewtopic-t-8781.html

Yes, reinstalling eclipse and MyEclipse resolved the issue. Thanks.
