I’m trying to include classes12.zip a library from Oracle, but my eclipse throws the foollowing error: “Source File is not of proper format”.

But we are 100% sure it is a zip file. Any ideas of what could be the problem?

The problem is that importing a zip looks for java source files to add to your project. Classes12.zip only includes binary class files. Rather than import it, just drag it from the Windows explorer window onto your project in Eclipse to add it.
