In case you missed it, here is the recap of the May 19, 2015 Genuitec Twitter Chat about Secure Delivery Center!

For today's #GenuitecChat we talked with
@JedAtWork - Jed Anderson, Development Manager for @Genuitec_SDC
@denam - Ignacio Moreno, Software Developer for @Genuitec_SDC

Q1. Today's theme is going to be on #Eclipse delivery of the upcoming Mars 4.5 release. Before starting, when does Mars drop?
-A1 The @Eclipse_fdn has planned to drop Mars on June 24th. As always, we're aiming for zero day support.

Q2 Excellent! When should teams responsible for providing #Eclipse out to their organization start preparing for this release?
-A2 Depends, if you're already on a delivery platform like @Genuitec_SDC you can leverage the work you did last year.  If you're not on @Genuitec_SDC, you're going to need to figure out how you're going to push new Eclipse installs soon!

Q3 If you want to take advantage of easier yearly rollout with #Eclipse, is there something you can do now to prepare?
-A3 Sure, install @Genuitec_SDC and get a package created. Then on June 24th you'll be able to roll out Mars easily!
You can download @Genuitec_SDC from genuitec.com/products/sdc/download/

Q4 If #Developers get #Eclipse themselves, do they need to reinstall the software on June 24?
-A4 Yes, If you get it on your own you need to deal with plugin install and after the release date reinstall Eclipse!!!

Q5 How is upgrade to the yearly release different with @Genuitec_SDC?
-A5 You install the pack and change the version as you can see here. Yes, it's that easy. pic.twitter.com/DouzwTnCcQ

Q6 What are the changes for #Eclipse Mars for companies delivering Eclipse to #developers?
-A6 There's a change to the Mac application format and some improvements to the marketplace API. Goodness all around!

Q7 When is a recommended time to roll out #EclipseMars? Are there issues with plugin compatibility?
-A7 There are always #developers who live on the bleeding edge of the #coderlife, they'll want the new #Eclipse on day zero. But due to plugin compatibility, you may want to wait until late summer to roll out the #Eclipse Mars release.

Q8 Does @Genuitec_SDC support technologies other than #Eclipse?
-A8 @Genuitec_SDC is running a pilot program to get feedback on SDC's @jetbrains IDEs delivery features ow.ly/N77rc

Q9 When will be the next @Genuitec_SDC release?
-A9 We're excited that a new version of @Genuitec_SDC will be ready for download on or before June 24th, 2015.

The next #GenuitecChat is on @MyEclipseIDE on June 2 at 10am New York. As always, send in any Qs you have to any of our products: @webpaddev, @Genuitec_SDC, @MyEclipseIDE, @GapDebug. Follow updates on our blog.
