The MyEclipse team is in the final throes of getting MyEclipse 2015 ready for our January production release. In the meantime, we've got one final Continuous Integration (CI) release for you.

To get the down & dirty on this CI release, check out our delivery log. Some finishing touches available today in CI 8 include an update to PhoneGap support, stability on the Eclipse Luna 4.1.1 platform, and several additions in the area of server connectors and deployment.

To start off, get updated PhoneGap support in your mobile projects with the addition of PhoneGap 3.6, which is what CI8 will automatically use with your new PhoneGap projects. The PhoneGap config.xml editor includes better image support and content assist in the source view.

For greater deployment flexibility, MyEclipse 2015 CI 8 includes the Pivotal tc 3.0 app server connector and additional deployment mode options for Tomcat servers.

It is also possible to deploy MyEclipse projects to app servers that you control outside of MyEclipse, i.e., you start and stop the server using external tooling or the server's own shortcuts.

Other notable items include tooling version updates. As mentioned before, MyEclipse is now based on Eclipse 4.4.1 (Luna SR1). In addition, Spring Tool Suite (STS) and Tern and Angular JS support got a boost to new versions - 3.6.2 and 0.7.0, respectively.
