imageEclipse Day Florence 2014 is a wrap!

A special thanks to the Eclipse Foundation for hosting another awesome and successful Eclipse Day. We're thrilled to continue to foster relationships with the Eclipse community and learn more about how our users are utilizing Eclipse tools.

In addition to visiting the famous Ponte Vecchio in Florence, our very own Nick Baumer had the pleasure of connecting with Eclipse users eager to talk about where the Eclipse community is heading with regard to the Internet of Things (IoT).

As we saw while attending EclipseCon North America, Eclipse Day Florence continued to have a focus on all things related to the IoT. This granted Genuitec an awesome platform to share with the community our cool PiPlug project which allows users to write small Java plug-ins using Eclipse SWT that run on your Raspberry Pi. (Watch a introduction video to PiPlug, as well as chat with other Eclipse enthusiasts using PiPlug. To learn more, go here).
