    Configuration:
Installation done by drag-and-drop into the IDE.
Eclipse Mars Release (4.5.0), Build id: 20150621-1200.
Oracle Virtual Box Version 5.0.14r105127 running an Ubuntu 14.04LTS distribution on a Windows7 host O/S. VBoxGuestAdditions_5.0.14.iso installed. NOTE: Have not tried on a native 14.04LTS yet with same Eclipse version, etc. Maybe issue has to do with the video HAL (hw abstraction layer) within the VM.

    Issues:
Local variable names, #defines (including macro definitions), class method calls are black on dark gray background – very hard to view.
Class member variables, double-quoted ASCII text (printf’s, cout) are bright/electric blue – very hard to view.
Color for comments looks good, but overpowers actual, functional code.

Hello, Thanks for your report. The Darkest Dark Theme requires at least Eclipse Neon (4.6) to work and I see you are running Eclipse Mars (4.5).
