Any progress with this? I too am experiencing this problem and it’s really starting to take a toll on my work.

    Thank you.

    UPDATE:

I tried the recommendation about changing the Pulse preferences, but this did not improve the situation at all.

BTW, the only plugin that I’ve installed is the Perforce plugin, but had this problem even before then.

    Looking forward to a solution.

I am able to reproduce the problem all the time.

When i double click on a file in the package explorer and directly after that i move my mouse to the editor area it focusses the latest opened file!

I also have link with editor enabled!

    Hi again.

So is this bug now “resolved”?

Again, the recommended fix did not help me. Has it worked for others?

    hi everyone,

thanks for the hints in this thread, i can reproduce the behaviour by combining

    – linking with editor
    – moving mouse to editor directly after doubleclick in package explorer
    – focus in package explorer will move to already open file in editor
    – newly double clicked file will not open
    – when i don’t move the mouse cursor, the new file opens

    cheers

I’ve noticed that if I keep my cursor exactly where I double click, it will eventually open the first time, but after about 10 seconds.

    Hi all,

Just checking if there is any progress with this issue. It has been a while since I heard something about this issue. Is the dev team able to replicate/fix this problem now?

    Thanks,
