Hi,

Im trying to install IEApp ear on Websphere 9 server. While starting the server (publishing) It fails with below error. saying no server target found.
When I checked deployment.xml I cn see the path of loose-config.xmi path, but modules are imissing in deployment.xml.

Karan,

Sorry that you are seeing this issue.

Can you please share with us some more details?

1. Can you please clarify if you can start the Websphere from the Servers view when there are no projects deployed to it? Remove all deployments, start the server from the Servers view and then deploy the project while the server is running. Do you still see the problem?

2. If yes, then are you deploying the project ‘In-workspace’ mode or in ‘Classic’ mode ? Can you please check if the project starts fine when deployed in ‘Classic’ mode?

By default the deployment mode is ‘In-workspace’. Remove all the deployments from the server. Double click on the Websphere 9 server in the Servers view to open the Overview page.In the ‘Advanced publishing settings’ section, select ‘Classic’ Deployment mode and save the changes.

3. If none of the above suggestions help, then please share with us the full output details from Console view to help us investigate further. Also share with us more details about the project and its modules.
