I am getting error when tried to start a WebLogic Server 10 on from myEclipseIDE 8.x

The error says ” Error starting WebLogic 10.x server”
A configuration error occurred during startup. Please verify the preference field with the prompt: ERROR: transport error 202: gethostbyname: unknown host

ERROR: JDWP Transport dt_socket failed to initialize, TRANSPORT_INIT(510) JDWP exit error AGENT_ERROR_TRANSPORT_INIT(197): No transports initialized [../../../src/share/debugInit.c:690]

My /etc/hosts file has valid localhost entry.
I turned off the firewall.

Please help.

Can you give some more information?
1. Can you copy paste your installation details from MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installaiton Details?
2. What is the version of JDK set for weblogic serer under windows > preferences > MyEclipse > Servers > Weblogic 10.x > JDK.
Also, I found the following link that says that there is an issue with the JDK.

Can you test with a latest version of JDK and let me know if the issue persists?
