    What happens:
    On eclipse startup the following exceptions are thrown up in the error log.
    Unable to register language [*] exceptions are thrown for all languages followed by the next two as pasted below in order. Problem now is I can’t seem to open using any of the CodeMix editors. The built in Editors work fine. Please let me know if you need anything else and I can provide.

    eclipse.buildId=4.13.0.202112031748

    Hi,

    CodeMix will not work with Eclipse 2021-12. Even though the extensions are installed, they will not be recognized. Unfortunately we have no workaround to suggest, other than using a prior Eclipse version (Eclipse 2021-09 or earlier with Java 11).

    Please note that CodeMix has reached its end of life and MyEclipse 2021 is the alternative. See here for more details : https://www.genuitec.com/products/codemix/end-of-life-notice/

    Apologies for inconvenience caused. Please let us know if you have any further questions.

    That’s unfortunate. I enjoyed the product. Best of luck.

    Emanuele,

    Sorry that you are seeing this issue. I am assuming you are referring to CodeMix (and not GIT) plugin.
    As mentioned in my previous response on this thread, we have no workaround to suggest, other than using a prior Eclipse version (Eclipse 2021-09 or earlier with Java 11).

    Any constraints in migrating to MyEclipse? Please let us know so we can see what we can do for you.

    ok, but the problem is that GIT plugin call codemix plugin (com.genuitec.eclipse.code.ui.languages.LanguagesService.createEditorDescriptor) and don’t work because codemix go in exception; codemix plugin is called by GIT plugin … why?

    Emanuele,

    The exception will be logged once the workspace loads and also if the CodeMix editor is in focus.
    I could import a project from Git irrespective of the exception from CodeMix. You can uninstall CodeMix if you find the exceptions hindering your work or other plugins.

    Apologies for inconvenience caused.
