While using the suggestion / autocomplete feature within the code editing window of “TypeScript::React Codemix” the overall desktop becomes unresponsive. The mouse cursor can be still moved but no interaction with any window on the screen (also outside eclipse) is possible.
This effect happens regularly (3-6 times a day) when using the Codemix plugin.
The eclipse log file shows a lot of exceptions in which stacktrace classes of the codemix plugin are referenced (see attached log file).

    Oliver,

Sorry that you are seeing this issue. Thank you for the log file.

Are you working with Eclipse 2020-09 or newer? We have some known compatibility issues with Eclipse 2020-09 and newer which might effect the general experience when using the product.
If you are working with Eclipse 2020-09 or newer and haven’t yet applied the compatibility patch, then please see this FAQ for the details : https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/codemix-and-angular-ide-compatibility-issues-in-eclipse-2020-09/

If the issue persists even after installing the patch, then please share with us the fresh .log file (delete the contents of the log file and replicate the issue) to help us investigate further. Also share the Gnome version, OS and version details.

    Apologies for inconvenience caused.
