Can MyEclipse offer anything, like a modification to the tutorial

“Developing JAX-WS Web Services & Clients Tutorial”

to set up the WS to use SSL encryption and for the the client to access it https.

I’ve set up Tomcat 6 by generating a key using keytool, and uncommented section for port 8443. Tomcat seems to run fine and is redirecting to port 8443, but simply changing the WSDL and generated client to look at https and port 8443 causes all kinds of errors.

You can’t believe how helpful it would be a lot of users to have this capability.

    Maybe another user has succeeded????????????????????

    douglasmhurst,

I have escalated your request to dev team member. They would get back to you on this.

I would also recommend you to research and go through advanced web-services forums / tutorials and look for the specific tutorials on using SSL enabled web services. E.g. – http://www.mkyong.com/webservices/jax-ws/deploy-jax-ws-web-services-on-tomcat-ssl-connection/
