Hello,

SQL Syntax highlighting/coloring seems to be extremely hard to read with Light Gray (Fresh Light) theme for SAP HANA SQL development objects like “hdbprocedure” and “hdbtablefunction”. Same also for standard SQL.

Could you please tell if it could be switched to any more visible colors or the standard ones?
I would like to keep using your product with all the icons and fresh light theme, yes syntax coloring is a blocker for me.

Hi,

Are you seeing the problem only with comments section syntax color or with other code snippets as well?
Can you please share with us the sample hdbtablefunction contents to help us identify the code areas with improper syntax color?

Hi Swapna,

The code syntax coloring for hdbtablefunction is the same af for the hdbprocedure. Not only comments in lumi~green color are the problem but also standard SQL code syntax, it all has very similar colors which are hard to distinguish. All of the code also has a ‘background’ different from the standard empty line background. Lines with code have a bit darker background. Hope it is possible to change it.

We haven’t yet targeted this issue. The fix might be included in our next release (we just released one couple of days ago).
