I’m trying to update myeclipse using the Pulse config tool, and it’s somehow included Maven SCM handler for Subclipse (Optional) that is failing for lack of dependencies:
Software being installed: MyEclipse 8.6 (Profile) 2.0.0.0000000003 (com.poweredbypulse.profile-1016916-rmb-1205403 2.0.0.0000000003)
Missing requirement: Maven SCM handler for Subclipse (Optional) 0.10.0.20100209-0800 (org.maven.ide.eclipse.subclipse.feature.feature.group 0.10.0.20100209-0800) requires ‘org.tigris.subversion.subclipse.core 0.0.0’ but it could not be found
Cannot satisfy dependency:
From: MyEclipse 8.6 (Profile) 2.0.0.0000000003 (com.poweredbypulse.profile-1016916-rmb-1205403 2.0.0.0000000003)
To: org.maven.ide.eclipse.subclipse.feature.feature.group 0.0.0How do I remove this SCM handler so the update can proceed?

In the Pulse Profiles window right click on the MyEclipse version which you are trying to update and select the Reinstall and Run. This should fix any dependency issues.
Do let us know how it worked for you.
I am running Linux and did not install using Pulse; do you want me to reinstall using Pulse to correct this?

Yes. Can you try re-installating it from Pulse? Open pulse explorer and select “Eclipse Galileo” in the top left corner. Your profile should be listed under My Profiles.
Select your profile, right click on it and from the context menu select “Re-install and Run”.Do let us know how it works for you.
