I was using MyEclipse 7.5 for some time, than upgraded to 9.0 and everything was fine. As my subscription ended while I was away, I renewed it a few days after it has ended. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to enter new subscription key (the filed was empty, the button “Enter subscription key” didn’t work).
I tried repairing my installation (both fixing existing one and reverting to 9.0) but I always ended up with an error.
Then I uninstalled MyEclipse 9.0 and tried to install 9.1 which I downloaded – neithr that nor installing 9.0 again would work.
Is there something else I should remove/clear/do anything to be able to install a new, clean instance of MyEclipse? Or any other suggestions?

(I am using Windows 7 64 bit if that’s usefull, tried installing both 64 and 32 bit versions).

I managed to solve my problem by simply running the installation as administrator. Weird, because I’m quite sure that I did it as a normal user the previous time. Anyway, if anyone encounters a similar problem, try running the installation as admin and maybe it’ll help.

    Cheers,
    Andy

    Andy,

Good to hear you are all set. For other Windows Vista or Windows 7 users, please refer this FAQ – https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/installation-installing-myeclipse-on-vista-and-windows-7/
