Hi,

Is there a standalone installer for myeclipse 7.1.1 like we had for the earlier releases….?

I already have eclipse 3.4.1 and i don’t wish to use the full installer because my eclipse 3.4.1 version contains crystal reports integration et al….

????

You can get the update site or download the archived update site from http://www.myeclipseide.com. Click on “Try / Download”, this will redirect you to the license agreement page. Upon accepting the license agreement, click on [download], you will be redirected to a list of downloading options for ME7.1.1. You can choose either option 1(update site) or 4(archived updated site).

Make sure that you have Eclipse 3.4.1 Classic version.

i have a license (@ my organization) for the earlier version (5.1)… do i need a new license to run the 7.1.1 version?

How do i know that my Eclipse 3.4.1 is the Classic version?

You will not need another license.

To check if eclipse is classic or not,
1. Go to help > About Eclipse…
2. Click on Plugin Details.
3. Check for plugin, org.eclipse.pde

Can you confirm that you have downloaded Eclipse Classic from the downloads available ?
