fishermParticipantProblem: I can’t run custom WebLogic launch configurations.
Error Message: “No server is associated with this launch configuration”Hi,
Have seen several posts asking about similar errors, but none appear to have been resolved, so here’s my problem.Setup: Have WebLogic 8.1 sp5 installed locally, along with Eclipse “Classic” v3.5.2 and MyEclipse 8.5 installed from the update site.
Scenario:
– Have defined WebLogic 8.x parameters in Wndow -> Preferences -> MyEclipse -> Servers -> WebLogic 8.x
– Have created a launch configuration from that server definition page
– When I attempt to launch that configuration, I get this error:
This is something that used to work very well in MyEclipse 6 & 7.
Have tried clean workspace, following help instructions etc – can’t find any way around this. Can you help?Thanks,

support-shaliniMemberMike,
There is a PR existing for this issue and the dev team is working on it.June 15, 2010 at 5:48 am #309089
fishermParticipantHi Shalini,
Thanks for the update. Not too familiar with your problem resolution processes. Will a PR result in an update on the update site? Or.. will the fix have to wait for another release?
I ask because this issue is a bit of a deal-breaker for me, I’m a heavy user of the MyEclipse WebLogic server integration – and this is currently stopping me adopting 8.5.
Thanks again,

chris.collingwoodMemberI’m am having the exact same problem as fisherm. We’re currently using MyEclipse 7.5 with no issues. This is preventing us from moving to 8.0 or 8.5.

I would really appreciate an answer to this question as well.
