support-pradeepMembertapanmokha,
Sorry that you are seeing this issue.
1. How did you install MyEclipse ? Is it using All-In-One installer/Pulse or using the Archived Update site ?
2. Are you behind a firewall or proxy ? If yes then you can set proxy settings here : from MyEclipse menu click on Window > Preferences > Pulse > Network Settings.
3. Can you please switch to a new workspace and check if you can still replicate the issue ?
4. Please clear your .log file located at [your workspace dir]/.metadata/.log, replicate the issue and attach file here
I strongly recommend upgrading to MyEclipse 10.7 to take advantage of over 2-3 years of development work and several new features added to MyEclipse.
You can download MyEclipse 10.7 from here http://www.myeclipseide.com/index.php?name=Recommend_Us&req=Download&version=ME.November 27, 2012 at 3:12 pm #3327701) How did you install MyEclipse ?

support-pradeepMembertapanmokha,
1) Can you please clarify whether you have updated to MyEclipse 10.7 version and tried in a clean workspace ?
2) If you can still see the issue, please attach the screenshot of MyEclipse Configuration center to help us visualize the issue ?

support-pradeepMembertapanmokha,
From your attached screenshot it is observed that MyEclipse is still finding the available updates. Can you please wait until the Software Updates Available section shows something other than “Finding available updates” .
Can you please let us know if there is any particular reason for not upgrading to 10.7 ?
If you can still see the issue then use Archived update site / Dropins method to install a plugin to MyEclipse.
Here is a detailed tutorial on how to add the plugins to MyEclipse :
http://www.genuitec.com/blog/?p=1628#add-siteLet us know how it works for you.
November 30, 2012 at 12:28 pm #3329311) Waiting for the “Finding available updates” to disappear, did not resolve the issue.
->Will send the screenshot as PM.2) “If you can still see the issue then use Archived update site / Dropins method to install a plugin to MyEclipse. ”
->We were hoping after 4 days of back and forth, a real solution would be provided not a statement that was applicable on the first response from the MyEclipse team.If the willingness to seriously look into the issue was never present, it should have been conveyed on the very first response, not on the fourth response.
This has been very disappointing.
Thanks You

support-tonyKeymasterTapan,
We do seriously look at all issues that our users raise and apologise that we may not have communicated this well. The suggestion for other methods of installing the plug-ins was provided to ensure that you had alternative ways of completing your work while we continued to investigate your initial problem.
We haven’t been able to replicate the problem here and have only seen something like it when the Configuration Center sometimes takes a long time to respond to the user. By the way, we didn’t receive the screenshot that you mentioned in your last post.
You say that you get the same problem for any plug-in you try to add. If possible, can you check other changes (such as removing MyEclipse server support for a server you are not using)? Have you added plug-ins successfully in the past? If so, then there may be some corruption with your installation that is causing the problem.
For these rare problems, it is often a good idea to try a repair installation (the installer will ask if you want to repair or replace an existing installation) or even a new installation. Your workspace settings are held with the workspace and so are not affected by a re-install, although you may need to reinstall additional plug-ins (however, plug-in preferences are held in the workspace and so do not need to be re-entered). Installation doesn’t normally take very long, so this is always a good option to try. This FAQ on reinstalling may be of some help.
Just to reiterate, our primary concern is to enable you to continue working as you expect. Tracking down the cause of the problem also helps us and may help you in the future but is secondary to enabling you to continue working.
Please let us know if this helps.
As a last point, we always recommend upgrading to the latest release of MyEclipse, whenever possible, so that you have all the latest fixes and features. Your license is not tied to a particular release and provides you will access to all releases whilst your license is valid. Multiple releases and editions of MyEclipse may exist together and can be uninstalled separately.
