    Friends

I am currently trying to install Microsoft’s TFS-Eclipse Plugin (Previously Teamprise) on my ME8.6 , but getting following error.

“Resulting Configuration does not contain the platform”

I understand that MyEclipse had previously worked with Teamprise plugin.

Is there anyone else faced the same problem with TFS-plugin? Or can anyone confirm whether MyEclipse still supports TFS (or vice-versa)

P.S. I am using the zipped site from teamprise for update (http://www.teamprise.com/)

    Cheers
    Abhi

    Abhi,
I could successfully install the TFS-plugin which I have downloaded from the site given by you on ME 8.6.
Can you verify the downloaded zip file size and try again?
Please refer to the attached screen shot for further reference.

    Abhi,

This is what I did –
    1. Downloaded TFSEclipsePlugin-UpdateSiteArchive-10.0.0.zip from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=af1f5168-c0f7-47c6-be7a-2a83a6c02e57 (This is the archived update site)
    2. Open MyEclipse IDE, from menu options click on Help > MyEclipse Configuration Center
    3. Go to Software tab, click on [add site]
    4. This will open a window, click on add from archived site, choose the archived site .zip folder
    5. Expand the Teamprise plugin till the child node under Personal Sites, right click on the child node and click on [add to profile]
    6. Click on [Apply 1 change] button under Pending Changes section
    7. Accept Software License
    8. Follow the wizard and when prompted, choose to restart the IDE
    9. To verify that the plugin is added, from menu options click on Help > About MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench > Installation Details > Plugins and verify the plugin

Thanks a ton. The installation using “Configuration Center” works perfectly. Thanks for the detailed description and screen shots.

I was previously trying “Help>Check For Updates> Find and Install” to link the archived site, wondering why it was failing.

    Thank again for your efforts

    Best Regards
    Abhishek
