I have just downloaded MyEclipse and installed it. I don’t have any application servers in my preferences so I can’t configure them. Is there something else I have to load or did the install just mess up? Supposedly MyEclipse has 20 application server connectors. Currently, I have 0.

    thanks,
    Rick

    Rick,

Can you provide the basic posting info:
    http://www.myeclipseide.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=394&sid=456ed97e14c29d7e67e01e7c1191e15f

In the meantime I’ll hazard a guess that you may not have an Eclipse SDK installed but rather just an Eclipse Platform. MyEclipse requires a full Eclipse SDK to operate properly. Following is a thread from a former case in which this occured:

I was using eclipse version 2.1.2 and apparently the latest version that you can download for trial is not compatable with that version. I installed eclipse 2.1.1 and tried it again and it worked fine. Thanks anyway.

Actually the latest MyEclipse version, 2.6.4 was tested on all versions of Eclipse 2.1.x and no such problems were detected. I’m wondering if your former installation was not a full E2.1.2 SDK. Regardless it sounds like you’re off a running.

    Happy MyEclipse-ing,
