To give you guys an idea how HOW much was done for the 4.0 release, here are two stats of all the issues (features, bugs, enhancements, etc.) that were completed from 3.8.4 to 4.0 M1, and then from M1 to GA:
Completed since 3.8.4 (1/27): 800
Completed since 4.0M1 (6/27): 499
Total: 1299 issues closed

We’ve done just short of 30 internal builds of M builds and RC builds, I know of two developers that haven’t slept in 2 days (no joke) and 1 that bought a plane ticket to a “place with no internet connections” 🙂

They finished compiling all the sources and are stuffing it into the installer program 😉
