Tim WidowfieldParticipantPerhaps it’s just a coincidence, but after I added the MyEclipse for Spring plug-in via the MyEclipse Dashboard, my online help became unusable. Now when I click Help –> Help Contents, the right frame appears, but the upper and left panes show x’s instead of images and a pop-up error window says: Line: 180 — Error: Object Expected. It appears that Internet Explorer is choking on some JavaScript. Clicking No, No, No, etc. on the error dialogs does not help.
Any ideas?

support-shaliniMembertwidowfield,
Can you try using the -clean command as mentioned in the link below –

Tim WidowfieldParticipantUsing the Microsoft Script Editor as the debugger, I found that IE is hanging on this line:
<script language=”JavaScript”>
selectTopicById(”);…which is in searchView.jsp.

support-joyMembertwidowfield,
Sorry for the delayed response. I see that you have MyEclipse Professional License. If you wish to use MyEclipse for Spring, please download the same from http://www.myeclipseide.com/module-htmlpages-display-pid-4.html you will need a different license than the professional one. To get the MyEclipse for Spring license please send out an email to subscrptions at myeclipseide dot com.
If you do not wish to use MyEclipse for Spring. Please upgrade to ME 8.5. I would recommend you a fresh re-install.
1. Run the uninstaller.
2. Make sure the MyEclipse Install Directory has been completely removed
2.1. Pulse Install Directory, on XP it’s under C:\Program Files in \Pulse or \Genuitec, and on Vista it’s under <USER.HOME>\AppData\Local and then under \Pulse or \Genuitec again
3. Then make sure the pulse2.locator file under <USER.HOME> is erased as well
4. Download ME 8.5 from the download site mentioned above.
You should be all set. Let me know how this works for you. -
