Thanks for reporting this. Though the problem also exists with standard eclipse themes, I’ve raised the issue with development and we’ll see if we can do better, in a future release. You can track the issue using the link below your opening post.

LOL you fixed it by actually changing the color of the synchronized subscript?
Hmmmm… I must say that I kinda like it… Better than the Eclipse’s implementation
