    Hi!

We are using MyEclipse Professional for our Java EE-Projects.
We upgraded from MyEclipse 2022.1 to 2023.1.
Now, the Project Facet ‘Maven Support – Dependencies Only’ is not working anymore.
The Library ‘Maven Dependencies’ ist not shown and changes in the pom.xml are not recognized anymore.

I also created an new workspace and checked out the Java Enterprise Project – but even with a clean new workspace, it doesn’t work anymore.

    Regards, Thomas

    Thomas,

Thank you for the report, and for the additional testing details. We’ve been able to replicate this locally – it somehow slipped through QA, apologies.

We’re working towards releasing a minor update to 2023 next week and will ensure this issue is addressed in the update. Thanks again for the timely report.

    Thomas,

We released 2023.1.1 yesterday with a fix for the Maven dependencies only mode. Note that this node may appear under a new “Java Resources” node, but the dependencies will be on the classpath and function as before. Thanks for the timely report.

More on the 2023.1.1 release here.

    Brian,

With Version 2023.01.01 the facet ‘Maven Support – Dependencies Only’ is working again.
As you mentioned, there is now a new node “Java Resources”.
And the Library “Maven Dependencies” is located in the new node “Libraries” inside “Java Resources”.

Thank you for fixing this issue!
