    Thank you for the screenshot. I could replicate the issue with white background at my end. I see the same problem with Eclipse’s Dark theme as well which might be an Eclipse issue and not DevStyle’s. I will check with the dev team if we can work on it and file a bug accordingly.

    As a workaround, please set the background color manually here : Window > Preferences > PyDev > Interactive Console to a color of your choice.

    What color do I change it to to match the pydev theme?

    duckjun,

    You can set it to a color which is preferable for you and which is in sync with the rest of the UI. If you prefer a darker theme, then go for a dark background or light in case of a lighter theme.

    You need to also change the output (Stdout,Stderr,Stdin,Prompt) font colors to be in sync with the background color you are choosing here : Window > Preferences > PyDev > Interactive Console.
