I’m really giving the EAR stuff a pounding here : )

When I rename a resource in a WAR and EJB the renamed file is instantly reflected in the deployment location, but this doesn’t happen if I do it in the EAR file, I have to trigger manual deployment to get the change out there.

Another one of them minor ones… I’m using the JBoss3 connector.

    My specs are:

OS: Linux, Fedora Core 1, kernel 2.4.22-1.2174.nptl
    JDK: Sun J2SDK build 1.4.2_02-b03
    JBoss: CVSTag=JBoss_3_2_3 date=200311301445
    Eclipse: M6, buildid 200312182000
    MyEclipse: buildid 200401011200-3.7RC2

erik we really appreciate the beating on the EAR stuff, the more problems you find and the more we fix only turns MyEclipse from a “good” product to a “great” product, I don’t see the problem with that progression 🙂

    Keep up the good work!

    Erik,

This is for the same reason as I posted in your other question here:
    https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/adding-module-to-ear-does-not-update-deployment-enhancement/#post-203885

We’ll get the model fully connected up and redeploying for 2.8. Thanks again for the input.
