    Hello,

    I’m getting an annoying issue with the RTC client plugin for Eclipse. I can’t see the Repository Files for any RTC component.
    When I right click on a RTC component (for a stream or workspace), and I choose show –> Repository Files, the Repository Files view is open, but no files / folders are shown there (see attached image).
    The issue disappears when I disable the Darkest Dark theme.

    IDE Package: Eclipse IDE for C/C++ Developers
    IDE Version: 2018-12 (4.10.0)
    Plugins: RTC client plugin v4.5.900.v20180527_0514

    Hi,

    Sorry that you are seeing this issue. Thank you for the screenshot.

    While I try to replicate the problem at my end, can you please check if the issue persists with Eclipse’s Dark theme as well? Please go to Window> Preferences > General > Appearance and select ‘Dark’ instead of DevStyle and check.
    Also share with us your OS and version and OS theme details if any set.

    Thanks for the prompt response.
    I’ve just checked that the issue disappears using the Eclipse’s Dark Theme.
    The OS I’m using is Windows 10 Pro 1809 with dark theme.

    I am afraid it is not fixed yet. The dev team is looking at including it in the next to next release, in a month or so.

    after many months and several updates I’ve checked today and I’m still not able to view the RTC’s repository files.
    Are you planning to fix this issue?

    Hello Leo! Here’s a patch that might just fix this issue. Can you please try it out and confirm it works for you? To do it:

    0. Shut down eclipse.
    1. Download and extract the attached plugins.zip.
    2. Replace the included jar with the one on your eclipse/plugins directory
    Note: If the file is not there, it might be at <home>/.p2/pool/plugins
    3. Open eclipse and make sure the issue is fixed.

    I can confirm the patch is working fine on my installation.

    I’m glad to know it worked! Thanks for confirming. We don’t currently have a release date as there are other projects we have been working in parallel and we just had an update recently last month. It should land in no more than a couple of months.

    Hello,

    this morning I received the plugin update to version 1.11.0.202005041925
    After the update the issue came back, so I’m not able to see the repository files for a RTC component anymore.
    What can I do to solve the issue?

    Hello Leo! I’m sorry, the fix did not make it to this release but it will make it to the next one, So please use this patch instead. Follow the same instructions as before.
