If you install tomcat and use the windows launcher (tomcatw) or bring up the service and hit properties (tomcatw again?) you can set Tomcat to run with a given user/password through the Log On tab using “log on as:” and This Account:.

How do I do this in MyEclipse?

    balanceofpower,

I am not sure of this. I will need to investigate this for you. I will have a dev member assist you with this issue.

    balanceofpower,

MyEclipse does not have an support for this particular use case. I’m afraid the only way to achieve this now may be to start MyEclipse with that particular user, so all child processes started by MyEclipse, like Tomcat would run with that user. I’m not sure if this is a viable solution for you, I’ll keep you posted if we one of the developers has a better suggestion.
