I am having trouble with text selection in the search field of Eclipse Search feature.
It is not highlighting the field, although it is still select the text.
I am attaching a small video where it can be seen happening.I am using Ubuntu 16.04.

We could replicate the issue at our end on Ubuntu. It is not only specific to DevStyle themes but also seen with Eclipse’s Dark theme.I have filed a bug for the dev team to look into it. We will keep you posted about the fix details.You can also track the bug status – please see the top of this link for the bug details.
