Ignoring the gtk theme the selection background is always blue and not the native color.

This is working in previous Eclipse versions.

Can you please share with us a screenshot of the problem to help us get a visual? Also share with us your OS and version details for further investigation.

The blue one is photon and should be red.

Happens on Linux, Ubuntu, OpenSuSE and Mint. Using Gnome, Cinnamon or even pure X.

Thank you for the details and the screenshots.

While we try to replicate the problem at our end, can you please also share with us the OS theme and Eclipse theme (i.e the workbench theme selected in the DevStyle > Color Themes preferences page) selected for a particular OS? You can share the details for Ubuntu/Mint along with the exact version of the OS.
