In MyEclipse 2.6.0 TLD(XML) parser is broken:
in any comment (<!– something –>) if you have un unmatched (odd)
number of apostrophies (‘) the whole TLD is rejected as invalid and none
of the tags are found.

Why are the contents of comments considered at all??

I believe this was a side-effect of an issue that showed up in the 2.6.0 build and has been fixed in the 2.6.1 release. TLD support will continue to be enhanced rapidly in subsequent releases.
