Handler for open/close tree items are not well drawn in Windows 7, also the selected item in a tree is not legible with Windows 7.

I use Windows 7, DevStyle 1.11.0.202007171537 (the last one) and Eclipse 2020.06. Darkest Theme with Monochrome icons.

I attach a screeshot, when you can see as the selected item (“OpenXava” in this case”) is very difficult to read.

Sorry that you are seeing this issue. Thank you for the screenshot.

Can you please check if you see the reported issues with Eclipse Dark theme as well? Please go to Window > Preferences > General > Appearance and select ‘Dark’ for theme. Restart the IDE and check if the issue with open/close tree items and selected item persists.

Hi Swapna,

I tried with a Windows 7 and Eclipse Dark theme and the tree handlers and selected element are shown in the same way as in DevStyle, so it’s an Eclipse problem, not yours.

Thank you for checking with Eclipse Dark theme. This looks like one of the few Dark theme related bugs that were introduced in Eclipse 2020-06.
You can choose to raise a bug in Eclipse forums.
