I’m using version 8.6 Build id: 8.6-20100806.and the Reverse Engineer UML from Java item does not appear on the UML2 topmost menu. However, I am able to drag and drop to get Class Diagrams.
Is there something I need to configure / reinstall?

In UML2 you can either use the drag and drop feature or right click on the project > MyEclipse > Generate UML2 class diagram to achieve reverse engineer UML from Java.
