    Hey there,

I am new to My Eclipse, but so far I have been unable to get it to create new J2EE projects. In particular, when attempting to create a new Web or EJB project, I get an error dialog as follows:

    !NewProjectCreationWizard.op_error.message!
    Invalid thread access

This is using all of the default values for the wizard (except the project name, of course).

I am running MyEclipse 3.7.2 on Eclipse 3.0M9 using JDK 1.4.2_04. My OS is Windows XP Pro SP 1.

    Mark,
The reason for this is that MyEclipse 3.7.2 requires Eclipse 3.0M8, I”m not sure how you got it installed on M9 actually 😀

If you want to know when our next beta release (support M9) is due out, follow this thread: https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/m9-is-out-what-s-the-scoop-on-3-8-closed/

I was afraid of that. Well, I’m reluctant to back up to M8 since M9 is RC0 (and this, presumably, the internal API is frozen), so I’ll just have to wait.

I’m going to close this thread, but we’ll keep updating the other thread to the progress of the M9+ compat release.
