I am a recent Mobione user. I’ve used this program successfully for the last 6 4weeks. 2 days ago I was prompted to update to v2.2.0 which I did. Now the program is hanging up constantly. the point and click, drag and drop functions hang up or are noticeably time lagged. I am not a happy camper. how do I acquire the previously perfectly functioning version.I’m using win 7
I’ve restarted my computer twice with out affect.
Currently the screen is frozen on the window stating Mobione is up to date.

Sorry to hear that you’re having issues with MobiOne. Could you share your .log file with us to investigate what is the problem? See #5 http://www.genuitec.com/support-genuitec/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=3033
An additional question: does this happen with all designs?
I don’t know. It has frozen up and operated slowly on each of the designs I’ve opened. I tried a fresh design and got the same result- freezing and lagging response to commands.
please instruct me to send you this log thing you requested . I am not terribly computer literate and I am unable to follow the path described in #5

Since the upgrade to 2.2 today I have been having similar problems.
Difficult to drag and drop widgets
Placed a List widget on top of an Image and the Image disappeared. Had to start from scratch.
Big One: If I start a new project and select Tablet. The Select Template window appears but it stays blank. had to restart the program.Tell me where to find log files and I will send them.

Hi Steven,
Are you on Windows XP? Please look up the log file in \Program File\Mobione Studio\Common\logs
Also please try uninstall to make a clean installation. Let me know how it goes.

For Windows Vista/Seven MobiOne log file is located at <user-home>/.mobione/runtime/.metadata/.log
For Windows XP look up at \Program File\Mobione Studio\Common\logs

Just did it thru MS outlook without incident.
I’m leaving my desk for the weekend and will return Monday with hopes of finding a solution from you.

Hi Steven,
The log was spot on for helping us identify a problem in 2.2. The dev team checked in a patch this morning for a 2.2.1 bug fix release that should be availabe by end of the week. would you like to try out a dev build with the fix late today or early tomorrow?

As I want to get back to work using Mobione as soon as, I’ll look to you for suggesting which course I should take; wait for 2.2.1 or use the patch the team has ready sooner.Steven

We plan to post a dev build around 10PM CDT (Dallas, TX). Please watch the forums as that is where the download link will be published
Here is a preliminary version of MobiOne 2.2.1 (developer-2) that will be released tomorrow or Friday in production form. Based on the log data you provided we implemented a fix. Would you please download this installer and give it a try? Let us know the outcome if the problem still exists.

Thanks for the patch. It is a marked improvement. Occassionally though, there is a hiccup; when I try to create a new design and click on the tab to start a new design, the tab expands, but the screen remains blank for a time before the options appear to complete the process. Sometimes the tab remains clear and nothing happens.Steven
