    Hi there,

I’ve a problem using Visual SQL Editor on MyEclipse 7.5, with MySQL database. All aother features are working fine with this MySQL connection, but Visual SQL only works with the embedded Derby DB and Oracle 10g.

Is it possible that I need to download another component or driver?

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Regards

    Daniel,
I could not replicate this at my end. Can you give more information regarding this.
    1. Can you copy paste your installation details? You can get them from MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details.
    2. What is the version of MySql that you are using?
    3. Can you send some screen shots of the differences that you have noted.

    Daniel,
Thank you for bringing this up.
I was able to replicate it and I have raised a PR with the dev team.

I too have the same problem trying to use a MS SQL DB. I assume it is the same issue as Daniel Vazquez’s problem with MySql (which I also use but not as yet with MyEclipse).

When can we expect a fix for this bug (feature)?

At this moment, I do not have any time lines. Its a management decision. If i know anything, I shall get back to you.
