aficionado2MemberWhen editing XML documents which I do frequeuntly I am not getting auto-completion like I would expect. I deal with many namespaces at a time and this seems to be where the problem is. I declare the namespaces in the XML document but when I type “<file:” I get no choices. I have to know exactly what to type and if I get it right the XML will go from red to normal and all is good, so the XML validator is obviously finding the namespace and XSD which is referenced. Why doesn’t the auto-complete pick this up? I notice that Spring namespaces usually work just fine. I did find the XML Catalog configuration where you can define XSDs. I don’t want to have to do this, it is being defined in the XML document why can’t MyEclipse see this and store it. It would take me hours to set all this up and then when a version changes I would have to do it all over again. Am I just not doing something right? Please help me. Thank You.
Sorry forgot to add show my installation summary :

support-shaliniMemberaficionado2,
I Could not replicate the issue. Can you create a new schema and xml file and check if auto complete works?
If the issue stil persists, can you send us the sample XML files and the steps to reproduce?
You can send a mail to support@genuitec.com. Please add ATTN: Shalini in the subject and refer to this thread. This will help us reproduce this issue internally.Attachments:
