It’s no secret that Eclipse software delivery is hard. Basic Eclipse delivery ignores the lifecycle of your tool stack and pushes you to rely on methods that are less than secure, or ideal for that matter - like passing around team wiki-pages or zip docs hoping that team members follow installation and setup instructions to a tee otherwise the project will eventually fail. While it’s not an impossible task (we used to do it until 4 years ago), it is often a bigger project and bigger hassle than you anticipated and most of delivery workarounds do nothing to ensure team synchronization.

Genuitec knows something about Eclipse delivery (we’ve shipped MyEclipse successfully over 14 million times). In fact, as founding members of the Eclipse Foundation I’d argue that we’re experts on the topic. We’ve spent half a decade working with customers on their Eclipse delivery needs, it comes natural to the engineers at Genuitec to continuously solve this problem with each enterprise account.

SDC was specifically designed to take the hassle out of Eclipse delivery while providing a way to instantly deliver not only plug-ins, tools, and proprietary software across a team but also deliver software to millions of our customer’s customers (you’ve likely used SDC and not even known it).
