MyEclipse Text Editor
Use the MyEclipse text editor to edit plain text files, configuration files, and programming language source code. The text editor opens by default when a text file is opened in MyEclipse. It can also be opened by right-clicking a file and selecting Open With>Text Editor.
The MyEclipse text editor provides the following basic text editing features:-
- Search and replace
- Copy, cut, and paste
- Text formatting
- Undo and redo
The MyEclipse text editor is shown in the figure below.
Access the preference page for the Text editor by right-clicking the editor, and selecting Preferences from the menu. Also, you can find them by selecting Window>Preferences from the main menu, expanding General>Editors, and selecting Text Editors.
